By ferry from Ros a Mhíl, Co. Galway

Rosaveel lies in Connemara, 40 km west of Galway City, past Spiddal along the coast road. The journey to Inis Oírr takes around an hour. Island Ferries operate twice daily. Contact: 091 572050 Website: www.aranislandferries.com

By ferry from Doolin, Co. Clare.

You can take a ferry to Inis Oírr from Doolin, which lies on the north coast of Co. Clare, adjacent to the Cliffs of Moher. Inis Oírr lies only 8 km from Doolin. Ferries travel daily (weather permitting) during the summer months (March-November). It is advisable to contact the ferry companies prior to travelling to confirm sailing.
